This has been my favorite restaurant for as far back as I can remember. The sushi is exceptional. The same goes for the level of service and attention that Ann and the staff provide. I am not exactly an easy customer. I request a lot of modifications for my orders. None of this phases the chefs or the serving staff. I have never had less than a stellar experience in all of my many (but never feels like enough) visits. Each time I leave, I look forward to my next visit! You can't say that about most restaurants.

**Delivery drivers, listen up!** This place is a nightmare. I went in to pick up an order, told the girl the name, and she mumbled “not ready yet,” then went in the back to check the status — without a single word or eye contact. She just comes back and starts working like I’m invisible, while I’m standing right there, waiting and staring at her. After a few minutes of her ignoring me, I finally asked, “How long will it be?” Her response? “I don’t know, It’s busy, I don’t have a time frame, I don’t know.” It’s honestly disgusting how this place treats delivery drivers — no communication, no respect, no professionalism. Just complete indifference and waste of our time. I canceled and left. Don’t waste your time here — they don’t value delivery drivers one bit. Consider yourselves warned.!

Annie and Jayce bought this restaurant in late 2025 from Joyce and Ken. The food was always good but the new owners have taken Yama to a whole new level. Awesome is how I’d describe it. We have been there three times this season and will go back at least another ten times. You really need to go back or try for the first time. Super fresh sushi. Beautifully prepared and presentation. A+

First the good stuff. The sushi was excellent. Really enjoyed both dishes. The service was excellent but it took a long time after being seated for anyone to come around. Now some other stuff. First the restaurant is dated and really needs a redecoration. Even the outside sign made us think twice if we really want to go inside. The shrimp pad Thai was really underwhelming. Overcooked shrimp 🍤 and lacked in taste. Stick to Sushi 🍱

My Aunt who’s a local recommended this spot for lunch. Ginger dressing salad (not pictured due to consumption), Thai edamame, spicy tuna roll, salmon avocado roll, and eel cucumber roll were all SO good and fresh. Will definitely be returning!
